Who Are They and What They Do
Hidden Warriors is a New York-based non-profit organization that offers a full makeover workshop for women who have been diagnosed with cancer. They provide women with tools of empowerment through visual representations like costumes, hair, makeup, and power posing lesions, in addition to mental empowerment through mindfulness, music, and nourishing foods!
Their Mission
They use the word “warrior” to support women as they conquer the battle they’re currently facing or have previously faced. We chose to partner with Hidden Warriors because their mission is closely related to ours; to transform and reconnect a community of women to their inner warrior strength.

School on Wheels
Who Are They and What They Do
School on Wheels is a team of board members and staff who offer educational programs, digital learning access, one-on-one tutoring sessions, scholarships, and school supplies to homeless children across Southern California. School on Wheels partners with libraries, shelters, and after-school programs to bridge the gap in their learning and create support systems for children who have none.
School on Wheels has opened a learning center located in Skid Row, the highest concentrated neighborhood of homeless people within the U.S. The learning center is a safe environment for homeless children to access teachers and mentors to support them through their academic years.
Their Mission
California is responsible for 26% of the homeless population across the country, and 12% of that number reflects children and young adults. Their organization is more than an educational space for children; they focus on being the only constant in the lives of those who are living without families or other reliable resources.
Charity Water
Who Are They and What They Do
Charity Water is another non-profit organization that provides clean drinking water to people living in developing countries. Safe drinking water is the single most vital resource to sustain life, and Charity Water is the organization that’s improving the water crisis.
Without easy access to water, people in rural areas spend hours of their day walking to collect water for their community and families, which keeps them from education and work. Beyond that, the water they’re collecting is contaminated and often carries diseases that can spread throughout their community.
Their Mission
There are currently 785 million people living without access to clean water, which is twice the population of the U.S. Their mission doesn’t stop at providing clean water, but they’re opening doors for underserved communities to pursue education, income, and a healthier lifestyle.
